We have a new kitten, Lucky. I found her one morning walking the dogs. She was lying, seemingly lifeless, on the pavement. When I picked her up she opened her mouth in a silent yowl. I took her home, where Virginia began a long prosess of restroring life by talking, warming, dropping in milk, adding mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and a few words to the effect that her mother would hate it if she died.  Lucky recovered, hence her name, joined what is now a menage-a-sept, and is as wild and mischievous as all the others. We really do have a cat-house full.
